Animal & Food items Sciences scholar earns American Meat Science Affiliation Instructing Award

A nationally acknowledged professor with the Department of Animal & Food items Sciences at Texas Tech University has acquired the American Meat Science Association’s 2021 Distinguished Educating Award.

Cargill Endowed Professor Dale Woerner will get the honor on Aug. 17 all through the 74th AMSA Reciprocal Meat Convention in Reno, Nevada.

Sponsored by Hawkins Inc., the award was established to acknowledge excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate meat science programs and the optimistic influence this kind of teaching can have on students’ lives.

“Teaching is my passion, and I do investigate to improve my potential to educate,” Woerner explained. “Every time I get in entrance of a team to train, it is my target to make a difference in their knowing, to interact them, to tell them of a thing new and to have them depart with a new drive to do some thing far better.
